GSC Boys Travel Hockey
GSC HOCKEY MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission for GSC Hockey is to create and grow a competitive community-based hockey program focused on skill development that allows members to progress at different ages and skill levels culminating in all our top age-level teams fielding top CHC teams while also maintaining structured teams for all our other players to compete and have fun.
TRAVEL HOCKEY PROGRAMMING
GSC travel hockey programs are open to GSC members' kids, ages 6-18. In the 2025-2026 season we are planning to field the following:
- 8-10 mite/8u teams including 2-3 all girls teams
- 2-3 boys* teams each for Squirt/U10, PeeWee/U12 and Bantam/U14
- NEW NEXT YEAR: Midgets (click here for more info)
*We also offer all girls travel teams under the Stateline Hawks banner. We welcome girls to tryout for the GSC boys teams. Please click here for the tryout procedures and policies regarding girls playing on the boys teams.
IMPORTANT TRYOUT DETAILS
The Hockey Committee is committed in its efforts to place each player on an appropriate team based on the individual merits of each player and his or her contribution to the team. While we are unwavering in our mission to be a family club, at the travel level, we are also committed in our efforts to create the most competitive teams that we can.
TRYOUT REGISTRATION FEE
There will be a non-refundable fee of $250 payable at the time of tryout registration. We will apply that fee to the travel hockey program fee for anyone that is offered a spot on a team and accepts. If a player is offered a spot on a team and does not accept, they forfeit the $250.
Please note that your $250 must be paid prior to your child attending tryouts.
2025-26 SQ/PW/BA/Midget
Below are GSC tryout dates and times. To minimize conflicts with tournaments for certain age groups, GSC will host multiple callbacks for Squirt and Peewee levels. These dates align with USA Hockey and the majority of competitive CHC Hockey youth organizations. Tryouts will take place before school breaks.

We would like every player to attend three of the four tryout practices of your choice, but a minimum of two is required to be considered for the team. We are offering four tryout dates to accommodate potential scheduling conflicts with other high school sports and provide flexibility for most players
